This page explains how kartobo.com, run by Kartobo Edutech Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies. For everything else about personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others are used to track visitors or show adverts.
The short version
We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies. Our fonts are stored on our own server, so your visit is not reported to Google Fonts or similar services. Because we only use cookies that are strictly necessary, we do not show a cookie consent banner.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Who sees it | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| hcdn | All visitors | Set by our hosting provider’s content delivery network (Hostinger CDN) to deliver the site securely and protect it against abuse. Not used for tracking or advertising. | Set by Hostinger |
| wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* | Kartobo staff who log in to manage the site | Keep staff signed in and remember editor settings | Session up to 1 year |
| wordpress_test_cookie | People who open the login page | Checks that the browser accepts cookies | Session |
| _lscache_vary | Logged-in staff | Lets our caching system show staff the live, uncached page | Session |
Apart from the hcdn cookie, ordinary visitors who read the site or send the demo request form do not receive any cookies. All of these cookies are strictly necessary, so they do not require consent.
Managing cookies
You can see, block and delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking cookies will not affect your use of this site as a visitor.
Changes
If we add any cookie that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting it.
